Willem Westerik - Creative Director
Willem Westerik is a Dutch creative director and typographer. He started working as a graphic designer in 1993 after his studies at the Royal Acadamy of Arts in The Hague. In 1998 he relocated to Rotterdam where he conceptualizes artbooks, websites, mobile applications, packagings, ad campaigns and catalogs, logos and brand identities, as well as events and installations.
Willem Westerik studied graphic design, photography, typography and graphics. He started his career working for the renown 2d and 3d design consultancy Donald Janssen Designers, DJO, in The Hague in 1993, working on projects as the redesign of the London transport Museum, Museon The Hague Expos, Nieuwland poldermuseum. After that he started his own studio in Rotterdam.
In 2013 he founded the Gallery Pulse in the historical center of Schiedam. Pulse is a multi disciplinary Art Gallery which combines contemporary art, street art and design.
